Spend with Cincinnati: Cincinnati Roller Girls

The @cincyrollergirls is Cincinnati’s first women’s amateur flat track roller derby team. The all-volunteer team is primarily owned and operated by its skaters, who represent a wide range of ages, backgrounds and occupations. CRG is an internationally-ranked member of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association… and their big home opener game was canceled. See below for how you can help support in the meantime! 🖤 •
Wondering how you can support your #CincinnatiRollergirls while we’re not playing or practicing? We just added some new items to our online shop that will come in handy while you’re self-isolating and help support #CRG at the same time. Plus you can get 20% off everything today through March 20! Check out all of these products and more at the link in our profile. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

Spend with Cincinnati: Quidwell

Looking for ways to stay active while you’re stuck at home? Check out this awesome new “Sweat and Support” initiative from our friends at @quidwell (an aggregator of all the amazing fitness and wellness resources we have in town)! Stay strong, Cincy! We’ve got this! 🙌
Repost from @quidwell

At Quidwell we are here to connect women in the community to the plentiful, local health and wellness businesses.
That connection is even more important right now as we all hunker down into quarantine. We know that many of our favorite studios and instructors will be hurting financially during this time. And we also know that women in Greater Cincinnati will need help supporting their mental and physical health from afar.
In an effort to continue to connect, and help support these two demographics we value so much, we’re creating an online series: The Sweat and Support Series.
Every day we’ll feature a different instructor or studio on our IGTV, Facebook, and Youtube channel leading a 30-minute at-home workout. If you enjoy this series and would like to support these small local businesses, we have also created a GoFundMe page where you can donate. These donations will be divided between all participating parties.
The series starts tomorrow! Tune in bright and early (or anytime tomorrow as they will be available whenever it’s most convenient for you) on Facebook and IGTV for a chance to sweat with one of our local talented fitness instructors!

With schools being closed and tons of people spending time at home for the foreseeable future, I want to make sure I’m doing my part to help out. So, this Monday for the next 3 weeks I’ll be popping online to give you a super fun creative activity to help make these days just a little more fun and exciting. .
Also, for anyone who is looking or waiting to book a Dream Portrait Experience or any other type of photo session, please feel free to reach out. I’m booking sessions currently for mid April and on. I also offer gift vouchers as well.

Spend with Cincinnati: Brand New Day

Remember, tomorrow is a brand new day. ☀️ That’s the idea behind @bndcommit, a Cincinnati-based brand promoting mental health awareness one stylish athleisure piece at a time (scroll through to see a few of our faves). “Brand New Day (BND) was created to form a collective commitment by all to eliminate the incidence of suicide and relieve the negative stigma associated with mental illness. Our products serve as a physical symbol, a promise to ourselves and others, to ask for help and help those who ask.

We are dedicated to providing a physical symbol to those who are struggling, as well as partnering with nonprofit organizations who lead the fight against mental illnesses and suicide. Through the sale of our products, we fight the stigma, raise awareness, and help everyone affected see that tomorrow is a Brand New Day.” Learn more at

Spend with Cincinnati: Hey Michelle

With bars and dine-in restaurants closed, our friend over at @heymichelle1 developed a really great (and growing!) list of where you can grab carry-out/curbside pick-up around town! Also keep in mind that, while delivery services like @ubereatsare super helpful, they also charge the retailer up to 30%, so carry-out/pick-up is the best way to keep those $ with the restaurants you love so dearly! And tip generously if you’re able! 🍝🛍 •
