If you haven’t been to Cincinnati Microblading inside Salon Lofts on Montgomery Road, you should!
Microblading is all the rage among Hollywood stars, and now it’s come to Cincinnati and it’s going to make your brows fabulous.
Microblading is an eyebrow-enhancing technique done with a natural feathering approach that makes your brows appear fuller and thicker. It’s a dream come true for those of us who want perfect eyebrows without any maintenance. The process actually started in China, then caught on in Europe, and now it’s huge here in the US. All the celebs and beauty magazines are loving it, and now microblading has made its way to Cincy, which is super exciting!
Katy, the owner of Cincinnati Microblading, is one of the only certified artists in the area. When you come in to see her, she matches the pigment color with your natural brow color and skin tone. Then you sit down together to sketch out and decide a shape that’s perfect for you.
Katy uses what is called the Phibrow procedure to guarantee the most natural and realistic-looking brows. Using a super fine blade, she deposits pigments into the epidermis, the outermost layer of skin, unlike tattooed makeup which goes deeper and is permanent. By adding the color so close to the surface of the skin, the strokes appear crisp and very fine to make it look really natural. The results are semi-permanent and usually last around 1 to 3 years. And that’s the true beauty of microblading — you don’t have to commit to permanent makeup but you also don’t have to apply makeup every day to get them looking perfect.
After about three hours of microblading with Katy, you’ll be good to go! Then, after 4-6 weeks of healing you’ll come back here to add any final touches you might need to get the perfect result!

So I recently visited the Lindale Golf Course and it was AMAZING!
The course is a beautiful 18-hole course that offers much more than just golf. It’s open to the public year-round and is also an ideal place to host an event, have fun with friends, and do some golfing — even if it’s for the first time!
Actually, Lindale Lounge is an AWESOME place to grab food and drinks with friends any time of year. With both indoor and outdoor spaces, you can cozy up to the fireplace on a cold day or enjoy the views on a pretty day. You can do food and drinks with just a couple friends or you can rent it out for graduations, birthdays, retirements, business events, and more! They recently added a bunch of new menu items like pizza, quesadillas, and wings (yum!). They even have live music throughout the summer! So fun!
The Par-Tee room is another great available space at Lindale, and can hold up to 75 people! This newly remodeled space has a beautiful view overlooking the golf course, and it opens up to an outdoor space too. But the Par-Tee room isn’t just another space at the course, it frequently plays host to a number of activities including yoga, painting classes, and bridal showers to name a few.
Whether you’re here to golf or host an event, Lindale has something for everyone. Golf workshops and lessons are available and they really cater to us women, so don’t be shy ladies! The course is open 7 days a week year-round, weather permitting. Learn more at www.lindalegolf.com.

Thank you to my intern, Alexis, for writing this blog post!
As necessary as things like stability and thinking before you act are, there is always one thing I will go to my grave saying is more important, and that is the adventure.
You’re only given one life, and the way you live it is up to you, but what is a life with no spontaneity? What are you doing if you never do anything just for the pure joy and excitement of it? Now that doesn’t mean I’m recommending you jet off to Australia and blow your life savings in a week, but I am suggesting that you get up, move around, don’t be scared. If you have nothing to do, and passes to Kings Island are only $20, even if it’s 6pm already, just go.
If you’re not the slightest bit hungry or think it’s in your budget to eat out but all your friends are going to the awesome new restaurant downtown, just go. Just think about the stories you’ll have to tell, the lessons you’ll be able to give from first-hand experience. You can’t learn from a life that’s not being lived.
