Courtney, the owner of Curate Boutique just posted this in the Facebook event listing for Night in White and it has me seriously excited to go shopping for the perfect white dress to wear! Hope to see you there! Click here to RSVP!
“Definitely one of my personal favorite events of the year that Curate Boutique does! And we just got in this little white dress that I couldn’t help but to share!”
We just published details about our March event! I’m really pumped about it because it’s going to be hosted at one of my favorite venues in town, ADC, the “gallery in the sky.” On the walls of the gallery (special just for our event!) the owner, Litsa Spanos, is going to feature local artists who use eco-conscious, repurposed materials in their pieces. Also, we’re doing a different spin for the fashion show — it’s going to be an hair/makeup show by the stylists at Alba Organic Beauty Studio (they use all organic and non-toxic products!). It’s also going to be a fundraiser and drive for clothing/jewelry donations. See below for all the details — hope to see you there!!
What: View eco-chic hair/makeup fashion show and eco-conscious art by area artists. shop local businesses, enjoy refreshments, and a swag bag valued at $250. Tickets are $10/pp, and all proceeds benefit St. Vincent dePaul. Plus, receive a raffle ticket for each gently used item brought for donation (click here to see list of requested items). From jewelry and boutique gift certificates to spa and salon packages, more than $3,000 in fab prizes are up for grabs!
Style Edit is a dynamic wardrobe styling business that is located right here in Cincinnati, Ohio. The duo, Brock and Marsha, have built a name for themselves in the Tri-State area by bringing wardrobe styling into the forefront for the city. These ladies have built their business around personalized wardrobe consultations, special occasion styling, outfit coordination, style workshops and more. Not to mention that that these ladies have worked with various corporate partners such as magazines, designers, and department stores.
Style Edit has been quite successful within the Tri-State area, which explains their new business expansion. These ladies have recently opened a new opened a brand new studio space in Hyde Park Square! This space will be used as a client meeting space, styling office, and a place for creative styling inspiration. We are so proud of these two ladies for their brand new business expansion! Check out Style Edit’s new studio space in Hyde Park at 3443 Edwards Road, 2nd Floor! Congratulations Brock and Marsha!
The menswear shop, 45/46, in Hyde Park Square is having a custom suit package sale now through the end of December. It includes a custom suit, shirt, tie and shoes for $1299. As a woman, that sounds like a not-so-great-deal because I can go to Ann Taylor and get a nice suit, shirt, accessories and shoes for about $500. But, with a hubby who wears a suit every day to work, I know this actually IS a good deal for made-to-measure menswear. So, if Santa still needs to spoil the suit-wearing men on your “Nice List,” think about taking advantage of this sale… or at least just tell them about it if you don’t have a spare $1300 laying around for a random gift! haha!
Maria Versluis, the owner of women’s fashion boutique Pink Tulip Club (with two stores – one in Hyde Park and the other in Montgomery), is opening a children’s clothing store. Sad news for local fashionistas. Kate Boutique on Hyde Park Square is closing. Megan Grove, the owner just sent out an email to her clients saying that she wants to spend more time at home with her kiddos because they’re only little once. So true.
The good news is that her entire store is 40% off to liquidate inventory. So, get in while the gettin’s good. She did change her store hours from now until the closing, so make sure you click here to see what they are before you head to the store.
Sad to see one of my favorite local boutiques, who loyally sponsored several different Cincy Chic events, close their doors for good. But, ya know, life is short and you have to listen to your heart!! Best of luck to Megan as you tie up the loose ends at the shop and start your new adventures!
