Cutest Couple Contest at Jewels by Jules

c4ce0bc8-8ce7-40f6-bb97-58c8720a848bI got an email from Jewels by Jules (a cute high-end jewelry store in Montgomery) yesterday with this fun contest, so I thought I’d share! You just enter here on Facebook, submit your photo and a little about your story, and hit submit! The couple with the most votes wins a diamond heart pendant! Looks like the contest ends on Valentine’s Day, so make sure you enter (and get votes) before then!

Christmas in July Sale at Jewels by Jules!

One of my favorite local jewelry stores, Jewels by Jules, is having a “Christmas in July” Sale from July 15th – 26th!

The owner, Julie, told me that it’s going to be a HUGE store-wide sale. For example… 50% off in stock Debbie Brooks…60% off in stock Charles Krypell…Clearance pieces 20% up to 60% off. Kameleon buy 2 Jewel Pops receive 1 free… Everything (excluding Kameleon and Alex and Ani) at a minimum 10% off. They’ll also have an extended selection of engagement rings and fancy diamond jewelry.

She’s also offering a layaway program so you can start putting away great gifts for Christmas! So, it really can be Christmas in July! It is such a great place for gifts — I went shopping there for my staff two years ago and I found something for everyone that truly fit each of their styles and personalities (and gender! I have one lucky guy on staff and I found the COOLEST watch for him there!) Plus, I found a couple cute things I kept for myself! haha! 🙂

If you haven’t been, definitely check them out! Julie is usually there, so make sure you say hi to her when you go. She’s very helpful and knowledgable about diamonds in particular. They’re located at 9977 Montgomery Rd., right next to The Original Pancake House (ever since I got pregnant, all directions are given with food-related landmarks! haha!)

The Best Looks From Cincy Chic’s Fall Into Fashion Event!

1375876_10151709385143931_1102178810_nOver at Cincy Chic we recently had our Fall Into Fashion event at Mercedes-Benz October 10. Attendees were able to get a first glimpse of the all-new 2014 CLA while sipping on refreshments and shopping local vendors. CRAVE provided light bites and there was an amazing fall fashion show.

Some of my favorite looks from the fashion show included the pops of red, mixture of browns and the colorful accessories! The red dress by Urban Chick Boutique was so cute and is the perfect piece for a holiday party! To see all of the looks from the show, click here!

Recap: Cincy Chic’s 6th Anniversary Staff Pamper Party

(L-R) Bri Pennington our online brand manager; Drew Ross our General Manager; Me, Cincy Chic Publisher; Stephanie Zastawa our VP of Operations; and Kerry Francis our event planner

On Jan. 15, 2007 I launched Cincy Chic. That means the publication turned 6 on Tuesday… and the Chic staff and I celebrated in style! It was all a surprise to them, so it was fun to plan and treat them to a great night out together! We started the night at Cincy Style Bar/Alba Beauty Studio in Hyde Park. They treated us to blow outs, makeup and nails, as well as champagne, light bites, and even chocolate cake for us! How sweet!! Then, Jill with AVE photography came by to get photos of our glammed up team before we headed out to Cumin for dinner. While enjoying dindin, (which was DELICIOUS by the way – highly recommend Cumin for a date night or special occasion!) I gave them some special gifts from Jewels by Jules in Montgomery.

I got the gals some gold/gemstone bangle bracelets and coordinating teardrop earrings (all in colors I thought matched their personality/style), and I got the lucky guy of the group a Marines watch. The watch was one of those chunky watches, with a over-sized face, and thick leather band – very cool. Plus, a portion of each purchase benefits the USMC! Ah, I digress (I could talk about shopping all day)…

We had a fabulous time getting pampered, wining, and dining. Check out the video below of our pamper party transformation! And thanks for your readership support throughout the past six years – here’s to many more Chic years in the future!

New York Meets Montgomery!

I just had a New York experience right in Montgomery! A dream come true! I did a Star64 shoot at Jewels by Jules in Montgomery and they had an amazing line that absolutely I fell in love with!

The designer of the line is Debbie Brooks and she’s based out of New York. She does handbags, wallets, cuffs, iPad cases, iPhone cases, and much more! What’s really great is the handbags have a magnetic pendant that can be swapped out to match your outfit. How cute AND convenient!

This Wednesday and Thursday Jules is going to be having a Debbie Brooks trunk show, which gives you the perfect opportunity to stop by and check it out and maybe even treat yourself to a new bag – or even check a few more items off that shopping list! Check out their website or call them at 513-827-9305. See you there!

Thanks to my intern Sara Elliott for helping me put this blog together!
