We’re less than one week away from the Nov. 7 Seasonably Chic Showcase! Today’s sneak peek features one of my favorite people in this world, Karen Sacksteder.

Karen and I go way back. I went to school with her sons, so I know her personally, and now in the “real world” I now also have the pleasure of knowing her professionally. This woman has been through it all. Not only has she been in business for herself for more than 20 years, but she’s battled breast cancer, helped family members through breast cancer, and recently lost her husband. But she’s one of the most upbeat, positive people you’ll ever meet. In fact, in 2007, Cincy Chic awarded Karen the “Woman of the Year” distinction because of her ability to rise above challenges.

Not only has she been through a lot, but she’s amazing at what she does for a living: Interior Design. And one of her specialties is holiday decor! So, for the Seasonably Chic Showcase, we’re going to bring Karen in to do a FREE brunch ‘n’ learn at 1pm on Nov. 7 to talk about the latest and greatest tips and trends for holiday decorating.

The food will be provided by Taste of Belgium, so you won’t want to miss it! What a great way to kick off the holiday season!
