I met a really great gal in my Bikini Bootcamp class (which I need to go to more often btw), Michelle Matson, who shares my love of saucy shoes. Turns out she’s a financial investment guru, author of a book called “Rich Chick,” and her personal and professional motto is to “get dressed to invest.”

I started to follow her on twitter, and noticed that every Friday she would post a picture of the shoes she was wearing. They were always fabulous, face-fan-inducing shoes. Some times they were her shoes, some times they were ones she saw when shopping, some times they were other people’s shoes she admired. One requirement: they had to be fabulous. I loved the idea so I told her I was stealing it for my own facebook and twitter account.

So for the past couple of months, I’ve been sharing with my friends my Fab-u-shoe Friday pick of the week. Unfortunately, I ran out of my own shoes worth posting rather quickly (ugh, I really need to go shopping but I’m trying to be good and save $), so for the past couple of weeks, I’ve been posting my friends’ shoes that I like.

I decided to start posting Fab-u-shoe Friday here on my blog because my friends seem to love it! This week’s FF post is courtesy of local makeup artist Chenese Bean. She posted these last week and I loved them! I’m seeing this trend of zipper ruffles everywhere! Jacket lapels, shoes, jewelry… and now fab-u-shoes! : ) Enjoy!
