Getting married, helping someone plan a wedding, or do you just like to win free stuff? If you said yes to any of the above, keep reading.
As John Kiesewetter wrote about in his blog yesterday, David Tutera (hunky host on “My Fair Wedding” is coming to Kenwood Mall this Saturday. He’s coming as part of a big tour of WE tv stars across the country (we got the cutest celeb, I have to say). For this one-day only event on June 26 (12-6pm), they’ll have a bunch of national sponsors, and a bunch of local hand-selected vendors, doing demonstrations, offering discounts and giving away great prizes (like a KitchenAid mixer, $100 gift cert to NinaShoes.com, and a $1,000 shopping spree you can use at Kenwood Mall).
They will also have a fashion show featuring White House Black Market’s new wedding party dress line. I didn’t know WHBM launched this new collection, so I’m excited to see it up close and personal. Check out their limited edition bridal gown! I love love love it!
I did a video interview with a rep from Kenwood Mall to chat about this exciting celeb appearance and bridal event, so check it out!

And while I was planning this blog post, two more wedding-related items landed in my inbox. First one is a Bride’s Night Out with Snooty Fox, which looks super cute and fun. The second is news that the Cincinnati Art Museum is doing a fab wedding giveaway. Check out all the details in the press release below!

Wedded Perfection: Two Centuries of Wedding Gowns will run October 9, 2010 through January 30, 2011 and will feature nearly 60 stunning wedding gowns from the 18th century to the present day. It will feature classic designs as well as the work of Christian Dior couture, Vera Wang, Worth and an avant-garde Yohji Yamamoto gown.
The exhibition will show the origin of bridal traditions in Western culture, how all the pieces of the wedding, from long trains to jewel-encrusted décolletés, came together, periods when the ‘traditional’ white wedding dress was not worn, colorful wedding dresses, an embroidered felt dress, and influential designers and contemporary artist’s conceptions of wedding attire.
Arranged around these gowns, paintings, photography, and installation pieces will provide visions of the weddings and social settings out of which these designs emerged.
