Last week I told you how I found out about the “free haircut for new clients” promo going on at lucid salon. Well, I went, and … drumroll… I LOVED IT!

The place was adorable. It’s right in the heart of Lebanon — right down the street from the Golden Lamb if you know where that is. It’s this quaint little salon tucked right off the main road on Mulberry. It has a loft feel to it, so you almost feel like you are walking off the streets of some old fashioned town into a city loft condo.

They’re an Aveda salon, too. So, you’re welcomed with that crisp earthy smell of Aveda right when you walk in. I got to sit next to the big floor-to-ceiling window that overlooks the cute little town.

Then, after she shampooed me (she gave a long scalp massage by the way… ahhhh), she put on conditioner and wrapped my head with a warm steamed towel. Then, as if that wasn’t decadent enough, she gave me a hand massage with the some hand therapy lotion.

I think I need a vat of that lotion to get through the rest of winter. Seriously. It made my hands so soft and hydrated for the rest of the day — even after washing them a few different times, which surprised me.

After she cut and styled my hair, she spun me around, and I was so thrilled with what I saw in the mirror. It was exactly what I had asked for and pictured in my mind, so I couldn’t be happier with the final result. Not too shabby for a free haircut, right?

I highly recommend you take advantage of this promo, even if it is a little bit of a drive (heck, I drove from my house in Kentucky!) or if you have to cheat on your stylist. : )

It was honestly one of the best cuts I’ve ever had, the service was impeccable and the place is adorable. Definitely go if you’re due for a new ‘do soon.

Here’s the fine print in case you want to take them up on the promotion:
Women – or men – can click here and print out a coupon from lucid for a free haircut. You have to schedule your appointment during the month of February and need to come in for your appointment by May 1st. You also need to be a new client. You can schedule with any stylist but you only get one cut per person. Just to be clear, it’s just a free haircut, not color. I got color done in this blog, so I didn’t want anyone thinking that was included in the free haircut. It’s not, you pay extra for that if you wan that.
