Macy’s National Wear Red Sale

Macy’s has been a founding sponsor of the Go Red For Women campaign since its inception, raising more than $40 million dollars over the past decade of support. In honor of American Heart Month and National Wear Red Day (Feb.1), customers wearing anything red – from an entire ensemble, to lipstick, to the signature Red Dress pin, will receive a 20% or 10% discount on a wide assortment of merchandise at Macy’s stores nationwide; as part of the Wear Red Sale happening Wednesday, January 30 through Sunday, February 3. However, even without wearing red, customers can support Go Red For Women by purchasing the official Go Red For Women red dress pin for $2 at any Macy’s store and receive the same discounts. All pin sales directly benefit the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement.

Also, there are three red dresses you can purchase that give 20% of the purchase to Go Red For Women. They’re pictured below and here’s their availability in local stores:

  • The Ellen Tracy dress is available at Kenwood
  • The Kensie dress is available at Kenwood at Tri-County
  • The Marilyn Monroe dress is not available at any Cincinnati area stores, but is available here on Macys.com.

This works out perfectly because Macy’s is our location for Cincy Chic’s 2013 “Lady in Red” event which benefits Go Red For Women! Red cocktail attire is preferred, so check out Macy’s to start supporting Go Red For Women early with the Wear Red Sale, and then click here to RSVP for our “Lady in Red” on Feb. 9!

Ellen Tracy Red Dress 2013 $119.50
Kensie Red Dress 2013 $99.00
