Saks has two exciting initiatives coming up for Spring. The first program is a charity initiative called “Send Your Love to a Cause” which will run from February 1 – 28 and will give 5% of sales from all Saks card transactions for the month to one of three local charities: The American Red Cross, The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, or Kenzie’s Closet. Shoppers register their charity at point of sales and their purchases will be tracked for the month so 5% will benefit their organization of choice. The Red Cross will receive up to $100,000 nationally while the Cincinnati Zoo and Kenzie’s Closet will receive up to $5,000 each.

So, Saks downtown is hosting an in-store event to kick off the program on Thursday, February 7 from 6 – 8pm. The charities’ boards and supporters will be in attendance along with Saks shoppers, media, and friends. Guests will enjoy a Champagne reception while they shop for a cause.
