Let me preface this post by saying: I’m definitely NOT a swimsuit model but I took a deep breath… got in a suit… in front of a camera… just for you. 🙂
Why, you ask? Well, it all started with Amy Tobin asking me to help her do a “How to be Cool at the Pool” segment for her radio show and blog. So, I did my homework and got in a few samples from various suit companies to try them out for myself before I could truly recommend them.
Amy and I ended up putting together a great segment (click here for all the tips and trends!), but there was one suit in particular that I ended up LOVING and keeping. It’s this bronze bandeau suit by Guira. It has a little padding, which is nice regardless of your cup size. I like the extra padding because it offers a little lift and helps hide when I’m cold, if ya know what I mean. 🙂 The straps are convertible, which is nice so you can wear them however you want, or not at all to avoid the tan lines! Also, the bottom gives great coverage. I have a little extra junk in the trunk and suits don’t usually do a good job of staying put and keeping everything in — this suit does a great job of both!
I wanted to feature this suit (and the great matching cover-up) because it’s a rare occasion to find a swimsuit that fits well and actually makes you feel MORE confident in it!
