Procter & Gamble is hosting its 2nd annual Pantene Beautiful Lengths (PBL) Hair Donation Event June 10 (my birthday!!!) from 1-4p.m.

The event will be held at P&G General Officers at Tower Gardens in Cincinnati.

More than 75 P&G employees, friends, family and members of the community will be there to donate their hair to help create free, real-hair wigs for women with cancer!

There will be a number of special guests at the event including Channel 9’s “Good Morning Tri-State” anchor Katherine Nero (who will also be sharing her personal story), PBL wig recipient McKenzie Hicks and P&G Executive Walter Geiger.

Since Pantene Beautiful Lengths was created in 2006, the program has collected almost 500,000 ponytails and has helped distribute more than 30,000 free, real-hair wigs through American Cancer Society wig banks across the country. Click here to read a story we recently wrote about PBL on Cincy Chic!
