Designers, mark your calendars because Dayton is playing host to the 2014 Fabric Fest, the first of its kind in the region. This festival travels across the country and gives independent fashion designers and others education, networking and fabric sourcing opportunities from experts in the industry.
Chicago’s Anna Livermore is the founder of Fabric Fest and will be traveling to Dayton on March 29. Anna founded her company, V. Mora, in 2008 out of her passion for helping new and emerging designers and artists.
Her one-woman operation is now a fully staffed company. She has offices in Chicago and New York as well as consultants in San Francisco. Her clients are from all over the world and her co-founder Jay Arbetman travels with Anna to the Fabric Fest.
Anna and her team can help designers save thousands of designers on fabric, education and networking. There are hundreds of fabrics in thousands of colors available at reasonable prices.
Dayton is becoming a vibrant fashion immunity and will also host the Dayton Emerging Fashion Incubator on May 11.
Check out Fabric Fest Dayton from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at De’Lish Cafe on March 29. Admission is free and you can learn more by contacting Ed Dixon at 937-313-7886 or edixon@theindustryevents.com. You can also visit the Fabric Fest Dayton Facebook page for more information!
