My new “Roses to Memories” keepsakes made from my grandma’s funeral roses

As you know, my grandma passed recently. We were so close and I was really looking forward to having her meet my little Lola, but it was in the stars that she’d be Lola’s guardian angel instead.

At the funeral, a family friend told me about an Ohio-based women-run company called “Roses to Memories” that makes beads from roses (apparently they made a paste out of the petals and then they harden into beads). Then, they put those beads on any kind of jewelry you’d like – bracelet, necklace, earrings, and even rosaries.

So, I snagged a few roses from the beautiful arrangement on grandma’s casket and I sent them into this company to have a pair of earrings and a bracelet made.

They just came back and I’m SOOO impressed. The pieces are beautiful. What I also love about it is that the beads are paired with sterling silver, so these are truly keepsake pieces that can be handed down from generation to generation.

I can’t wait for the day when my little Lola can wear these special pieces!
