With Thanksgiving coming up, here’s a great way for you to fundraise for your organization and show thanks to your supporters by providing a fun and fashionable event. My friend Emily at Miss Em’s actually does a ton of fundraising events, and here are just a few of the local organizations that generate lots of much-needed revenue by having jewelry sales through her:
- Pelotonia
- Milford Boy Scout Troop 468
- Milford Jr. High Volleyball
- Chillicothe High School Cheerleading Team
- Pathway to Peace
- Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority
- Junior Civic League of Chillicothe and (upcoming) Columbus
- American Cancer Society
- SO MANY MORE!
It’s a really easy and lucrative way to raise funds for your organization! When groups host fundraisers with me, they get 15% of the total sales in a check to their organization. All they have to provide is the space and marketing for the event to get their supporters, friends, family, etc to attend. Emily says they’ve raised anywhere from $100 – $500 in a matter of hours for their fundraisers! The jewelry sells itself and everyone gets to take home their items, so no wait!
Emily has a few fundraisers coming up that you might want to attend:
Fundraiser for Pathway to Peace in Columbus. This is an organization that was created because two women, Patricia and Jessica Lutz who were tragically hit and killed by a vehicle driving off the side of the road. At the scene of the accident the family found papers in the bushes. The papers were a copy of the “Novena to the Virgin Mary, Untier of Knots.” Patricia and Jessica were praying during that fateful walk. Since their death their family put together Pathway to Peace to raise awareness and support for mental health treatment. The event is Sunday, November 22nd at the Dublin Panera in Columbus, Ohio. To learn more about this event, click here.
She’s also selling the following three items where 40% of each sale will go directly towards your organization.
Another fundraiser that Miss Em’s will be having is one for Boy Scout Troop 468 in Milford, Ohio on Saturday, December 5th. This event will help raise funds for their troop, while also allowing the boys the opportunity to learn about marketing / sales for a business. For additional information, click here.
We also have additional fundraisers coming up for sororities. If interested in learning more about hosting a fundraiser or attending, please reach out to Emily@missEms.com.
