We’re doing some exciting things with events here at Cincy Chic. One of the things I’m really pumped about is that we’re going to have a new business, that was recently launched by a local woman, called Bitters ‘n’ Sweet Mobile Bartending service do the bar at some of our upcoming event. She can do all different sizes of parties. Big events like ours or even small ones at a house or business. And actually, I’m thinking about hiring her for a girls night in because she’s starting to do cocktail recipe events where she not only bartends your event, but you also learn how to make one or more drinks in particular and it’s more of an activity for your event! I love that idea!

What is Bitters ‘n Sweet Bartending, LLC?
Bitters ‘n Sweet Bartending, LLC is a mobile bartending service that serves the Greater Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus, OH areas, as well as Lexington and Louisville, KY and Indianapolis, IN.
What’s the inspiration behind it?
I have bartended in various establishments, but found I really enjoyed working with clients to help plan the bar for their private events. I’ve always wanted to have my own business and thought this would be a great opportunity! I officially launched Bitters ‘n Sweet Bartending, LLC in October 2015.
Who’s behind it?
Tonia Murphy is the owner. I’m originally from Owensboro, KY but have lived in Cincinnati since 2001. I currently work full-time in Human Resources for a large insurance company headquartered in Cincinnati.
What types of services do you provide?
Our experienced bartenders serve fabulous cocktails at holiday parties corporate events, wedding receptions, private parties, and all other special occasions. I work with my clients to create detailed shopping lists so they know exactly what to buy. I also offer one crafted cocktail with each event or can provide that as a separate service.
What have been some of your favorite events you’ve done thus far?
I launched during the holiday season, so I worked several private parties that were really fun. I enjoyed the cheerful atmosphere and my clients and their guests enjoyed festive drinks!
Is there anything new on the horizon for your business?
Yes, this spring I’m launching several engaging, fun events! One I’m really excited about centers around getting your girlfriends together, and I will come to you and teach you all to make some of your favorite drinks.
