My two girls and I headed to Goldfish Swim School West Chester the other day to check it out after a mom friend of mine recommended it. Goldfish Swim School West Chester provides swim instruction to children ages 4 months to 12 years-old in a unique setting with highly trained instructors, small class sizes (there’s a max 4:1 student to teacher ratio), 90-degree pools — so no shivers or blue lips, and a state-of-the-art water purification system. Families with kids of different ages and skill levels can conveniently have all of their swimmers in the pool during the same half hour time slot.

I have a 3.5 year old and an 11 month old, and they had great options for both ages. I loved that even in their first lesson, they both learned great skills and basics for how to swim, safely get in and out of the water, all while having a ton of fun.

In addition to swim lessons, Goldfish Swim School of West Chester offers weekly family swims (for both members and non-members) and party packages.

And the facility is awesome and not just because its tropical décor makes me feel like I’m on vacation in the tropics. But there’s a viewing gallery for parents to watch lessons, with fun things to do for any siblings who aren’t in the water. The shower area right there in the pool to wash off all the chlorine was super convenient. They have a spacious family dressing area with tons of huge/clean/private changing rooms too. They even have a little tiki hut for all the hairdryers so no one leaves with a wet head! We stopped by their snack bar for a sweet reward after the lesson, and you can also get coffee/hot chocolate/soft drinks there too.
