This past Sunday (Nov. 5) was the Miss Em’s Cincinnati Holiday Open House at the Anderson Senior Center, and let me tell you, it was AMAZING! I took my daughters along with me and they had SO much fun.
I love shopping all the jewelry, accessories, and gift items from Miss Em’s, and then also all of the other vendors that were there too!
Lola got a REALLY cool book from Usborne Books where you shine a flashlight behind each page, which then reveals somtehing hidden behind each image. She is OBSESSED!
I’m so glad we stopped by – because not only did I get to spend the day with my girls and check out all of the great items that were at the Open House, but I also got to get a little holiday shopping done for family and friends, all while supporting a local business! PLUS – the event benefitted Cincinnati Children’s where shoppers got a discount if they brought in a toy to donate. I was there at the beginning of the event – when the bin was just starting to be filled, but Miss Em’s Owner Emily says it was completely full by the end of the day, which warms my heart!
There’s another Open House coming up in Columbus at the Worthington Community Center on November 19 from 1-4 pm – so mark your calendars now if you’ll be in the Columbus area! If you can’t make it to the next open house, you can always shop Miss Em’s online or host a Facebook party so you an earn while your friends shop with you!
