Spend with Cincinnati: Flora Lee Naturals

Happy Self-Care Sunday, friends! If you’re looking for new products to try, check out @floraleenaturals, a handmade, plant-based skincare line with a skincare studio on Gilbert Ave where you can buy products, get a steam facial, attend a DIY mask-making class and more! The company was launched in 2017 by Nia, a midwest native who grew up with her grandmother Flora. Inspired by a desire to live a more natural, holistic lifestyle and her love of skincare, Nia launched this handmade, plant-based skincare brand. You can find it in local spas like @sprucenailshop (when they re-open) or online at Oh! And head to their IG page for a great DIY hand sanitizer tutorial. ??

Spend with Cincinnati: The Style Resolution

Put this extra time at home to good use by organizing your closet and refining your wardrobe (you know, for when you need to wear pants again). Over at @thestyleresolution, they’re now offering virtual styling services including Closet Edits, Outfit Planning and Styling Planning. “We also offer gift cards on our website. This is the perfect time to brush up on Closet Organization or Personal Styling Techniques while at home. We are still providing in-home styling sessions, but I would like to digitally extend offers if people are not comfortable with that.” Sydney

Spend with Cincinnati: Quidwell

Looking for ways to stay active while you’re stuck at home? Check out this awesome new “Sweat and Support” initiative from our friends at @quidwell (an aggregator of all the amazing fitness and wellness resources we have in town)! Stay strong, Cincy! We’ve got this! ?
Repost from @quidwell

At Quidwell we are here to connect women in the community to the plentiful, local health and wellness businesses.
That connection is even more important right now as we all hunker down into quarantine. We know that many of our favorite studios and instructors will be hurting financially during this time. And we also know that women in Greater Cincinnati will need help supporting their mental and physical health from afar.
In an effort to continue to connect, and help support these two demographics we value so much, we’re creating an online series: The Sweat and Support Series.
Every day we’ll feature a different instructor or studio on our IGTV, Facebook, and Youtube channel leading a 30-minute at-home workout. If you enjoy this series and would like to support these small local businesses, we have also created a GoFundMe page where you can donate. These donations will be divided between all participating parties.
The series starts tomorrow! Tune in bright and early (or anytime tomorrow as they will be available whenever it’s most convenient for you) on Facebook and IGTV for a chance to sweat with one of our local talented fitness instructors!

Spend with Cincinnati: Say Yes to Jess

Daydreaming of when life can get back to normal? Us too. Knowing this time is especially tough for those with kids now at home, local photographer @sayyestojess(who specializes in these super cool fantasy photo shoots is now offering free daily activities to keep your kids creatively engaged and entertained. Check out her page to learn more and consider buying a voucher for a future shoot. Especially with today’s news of mandated wedding cancellations, a great way to support local photographers is to pre-pay for or place a down-payment on a future shoot, so contact your favorite local photog and make their day picture perfect knowing they’re capturing new business! ?? • #Repost from @sayyestojess: Hi friends! With schools being closed and tons of people spending time at home for the foreseeable future, I want to make sure I’m doing my part to help out. So, this Monday for the next 3 weeks I’ll be popping online to give you a super fun creative activity to help make these days just a little more fun and exciting. .
Also, for anyone who is looking or waiting to book a Dream Portrait Experience or any other type of photo session, please feel free to reach out. I’m booking sessions currently for mid April and on. I also offer gift vouchers as well.
