Shop Local at the Independents’ Week Launch Party June 30!

Looking for a great opportunity to learn more about area businesses and shop local? Then I’ve got the event for you! Check out Independents’ Week Launch Party on Monday, June 30 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Independents’ Week is a 7-day celebration of Greater Cincinnati’s independent businesses and how they make the city a better place to work, play and live.

To host the event, BuyCincy.com is partnering with the Walnut Hills Redevelopment Foundation. You’ll get to celebrate with the rest of the community with free (yes, free!!) beer from Rhinegeist Brewery and catering from Fireside Pizza. Vice Mayor David Mann will give a speech with an introduction and volunteer awards presented by Greater Cincinnati Independent Business Alliance founder Owen Raisch. Guests will also enjoy corn hole and giant Jenga as well as raffles!

On Saturday November 19, several local businesses will be participating in BuyCincy.com‘s Cincinnati Unchained Event. Cincy shops, such as Oakley-based Trend boutique will offer deep discounts to participants. Trend, for example, is doing 15% off your entire purchase both online and in store.
