Every day for the next couple of weeks, I’m going to introduce you to a new team member at Mi Salon Spa in Florence Kentucky! Why? Well, a few months ago, we held our “School’s Back, Mom Relax” event there and I learned so many fun tips and tricks from  the experts I met that night that I decided to go back and interview them, see what inspires them, what they specialize in, and learn some helpful tips along the way! You can click here to follow along with all the posts in this series, and check back often for these daily posts so you can meet the whole team!!

Today’s interview is with esthetician Sherry. She’s been at Mi Salon Spa for 10 years now, and specializes in chemical exfoliations and enzyme facials. According to Sherry, enzyme facials are the perfect day time treatments because they take  about 40 minutes to do, and have no downtime. This fab treatment targets many skin conditions including acne, irritating spots, dull and tired skin, greasy areas, blackheads and irritable or dry skin!

Sherry also does eyelash extensions! She says these eyelash extensions are lashes applied with a stronger adhesive than temporary lashes. Generally, a single lash is applied to each natural lash. The bond is designed to last until the lashes naturally fall out. Sherry said a tip to make the extensions last longer is to not used oil-based eye makeup remover and to let your face air dry after washing it or taking a shower because oil and touching the lashes will weaken the bond between the lash and the adhesive! What a great tip!
