Ladies Night Out with a Purpose December 15!

Get ready for a Ladies Night Out… with a Purpose! This will be the second annual event and will be held on December 15 from 6-10pm at the Hilton Garden Inn in Mason.

The event is being hosted by Paris J Boutique, a boutique formally located in Montgomery. Now the boutique is based online (definitely check it out if you haven’t yet! It’s one of my favorite online boutiques!)

Live music will be performed by national recording artist Bell Smooth Jazz Band. Complimentary make-up application, eyebrow threading, massages, mini manicures and much more!

There will also be raffle gifts where 100% of the ticket sales will be donated to the Neediest Kids of All.

Space is limited, so RSVP here by November 30 and be sure to bring a “wish list” item for donation to Bethany House Services, Talbert House or Toys for Tots.

Paris J Boutique Launches New Online Boutique

The dress I wore to the 2011 Lady in Red from Paris J Boutique!

In 2008, one of my favorite Tri-State boutiques, Paris J Boutique, opened up shop in Montgomery.

I bought some of my mainstay wardrobe pieces there – from cute shoes and accessories to fab dresses and casual couture. The owner Teresa sponsored several Cincy Chic fashion shows, events and even brought Project Runway’s Althea Harper to her store for a trunk show!

Then, around this time last year, Teresa announced that she was closing in a matter of days due to her family’s move to Chicago. I was devastated!

Well, I just found out that Teresa has been working on an online boutique where she can sell Paris J merchandise to all her customers here in the Queen City and beyond. It’s set to launch next Friday, June 15. I’m so excited!

Check out sneak peeks of the new site on her Facebook page, and bookmark her site parisjboutique.com to check out the new site when it launches next Friday!

Happy shopping and have a great weekend!

Paris J Boutique Store Closing

Makes me so sad to even write this… but one of my favorite local boutiques, Paris J Boutique, is closing its doors for good. The owner, Teresa, just made the announcement about an hour ago, and the final day of business will be this Thursday. 50% off until then. Get in while you can. It was truly a gem here in Cincinnati.

Here’s the note Teresa posted about the store closing:

I feel so Blessed to have served customers in the Cincinnati Area since 2008. I’ve decided to close my boutique to focus and dedicate 100% of my time to my non-profit organization helping teen girls. I would like to Thank you all for supporting my business. This was a very hard decision for me to make as I love the Fashion scene, however there’s another plan and purpose that God has for me…A big THANK YOU to Amy Scalia and the Cincy Chic staff…I love you guys!!! keep doing your thing and keeping fashion alive in Cincinnati…

Our last day will be Thursday May 19th….

50% off everything in the store…

Frugal Fashion Friday at Paris J Boutique

Paris J Boutique up in Montgomery (by Carlo & Johnny)  just started something I thought was interesting. They’re calling it “Frugal Fashion Friday.” The owner, Teresa, picks a couple items in the store and sells them at an insane price.

She just posted today’s deals and they’re pretty impressive. A blinged up timepiece that was $48, but is $20 today. She also has a sequined fitted shift dress that was $94 and is $30 today.

Timepiece (Was $48, is $20 now)
Fitted Shift Dress (Was $94, is $30 now)

Teresa has done a great job with lowering her prices since she opened up two years ago. I think that’s smart because times are tight with everyone these days, but you still want to look good, be on-trend and be wearing something unique. So, check out Paris J’s Facebook page to see which pieces will have their prices on the chopping block for next week’s Frugal Fashion Friday!

Cincinnati Boutique Sale Dates Announced

Today I was on Fox19 (click here to watch the video segment) talking about looks for New Year’s Eve. I picked four outfits from Paris J Boutique for the segment. In the green room as we were getting ready, Teresa the owner of Paris J, mentioned that the date for the Cincinnati Boutique Sale had just been selected and announced. I tried to contain my excitement, but I think I let out a little squeal. : )

They usually keep this date a secret until the very last minute because they don’t want their clients to hold off on buying things to get them at a discount at the sale. But, the cat’s officially out of the bag, so mark your calendars…

‘Tis the season for shopping and saving – Two things that just so happen to be my specialties. : ) So, I put together this list of the best Black Friday/Cyber Monday Deals. Feel free to comment below if I missed anything you’d like to add. Happy shopping!
