Back to School Pics (that are actually cute) at Spotted Goose

It’s funny how things change when you become a mom. Pre-Lola, my Instagram feed was all world traveling style bloggers. I still have them too, but now I follow kids clothing designers, boutiques and mommy bloggers. One of those kids clothing boutiques that I now follow is Spotted Goose in Oakley. They always post the cutest outfit ideas and just posted this event that’s coming up! What a great idea — because everyone knows that school pics never turn out well. This is a way to get lots of cute pics of your little one as they head back to another year of school! More details on their Instagram feed! https://instagram.com/p/6ajK-WSheN/

Bambino Photography’s “Cincinnati After Dark” Shoots

My husband and I just had our 5th anniversary (yippee!!). To celebrate, I wanted to do something special… different… to just enjoy “us.” I recently heard that my photography friend, Michael Bambino of Bambino Photography, just started doing these “Cincinnati After Dark” shoots with couples. He’s traditionally a wedding photographer, but he becomes friends with many of his couples. So, one way he came up with to shoot his couples again is to do these After Dark sessions with them for a special occasion like an anniversary (or just because) where he gets the gal all dolled up with a makeup artist at his studio, takes you into the heart of the city for some amazing evening shots all over town, and then drops you off for an amazing dinner date at your favorite downtown restaurant.

We had so much fun getting shots in the streets (and bridges) of Cincinnati and then topping off the night with an incredible dinner at The Precinct. What a perfect way to celebrate five years, and many more to come… all thanks to Bambino Photography for making it happen! Here’s a few shots he just gave me as a sneak peek. I’ll have all the pics — and of course will post a slideshow of them — by next week! Can’t wait!
