Every day for the next couple of weeks, I’m going to introduce you to a new team member at Mi Salon Spa in Florence Kentucky! Why? Well, a few months ago, we held our “School’s Back, Mom Relax” event there and I learned so many fun tips and tricks from the experts I met that night that I decided to go back and interview them, see what inspires them, what they specialize in, and learn some helpful tips along the way! Today’s interview is with nail technician Jaden. She’s been at Mi Salon Spa for eight years and does all types of nail services. Her favorite by far is doing shellac, she says, because it lasts so long, and it’s so low-maintenance for the client. It’s great for summer vacations because the sand won’t wear away your polish, and great for winter because you can slip your boots right back on after the service — no dry time! Shellac manicures last two weeks and pedicures last about six weeks!
Also, a new big trend that Jaden is seeing (and loving!) is nail art.
